Hey! I’m Chloe.
When I was a kid, I used to have three or four books on the go. The fact that, at 10, I had the reading age of a 15-year-old is still a point of pride, well over a decade later.
Thinking I peaked at 10 is probably silly, but really, aren’t we all?
Now I’m a grown-up (ew), my life can be split into four strands:
- I spend a huge chunk of my time reading, still. It’s hard, flitting between hard-hitting, epic fantasies, and contemporary romances with cartoon people on the cover, but somehow, I make it work.
- Writing makes up a big part of my morning routine, and I have a billion projects on the go at once (I’m editing one manuscript, writing another, and plotting a third one right now).
- I love going to gigs (either small ones in our local scene, or big ones, like My Chemical Romance’s reunion shows. No, it really never was a phase)
- I have a big boy marketing job that lets me do all these fun things.
I’m also chronically ill and disabled, and dedicate a lot of my time to discovering own-voices books with disability and queer representation.
When I’m not doing any of the things above, you can find me knitting on the sofa or in the pub with my partner (probably with a book).
